Your 3-Day St. Petersburg, Florida Bachelorette Itinerary (Tried & Tested)
St. Petersburg, Florida has quietly become one of the best bachelorette destinations in the state. Beach access, great food, walkable neighborhoods, and enough going on that you never have to manufacture the fun. Our girl Andrea just did it with five of her closest friends, rated it a 9.7 out of 10, and documented the whole thing — watch the vlog above to see the weekend in action, and use this itinerary to plan your own.
Why St. Petersburg, Florida for a Bachelorette Weekend?
St. Pete hits a sweet spot that’s hard to find in Florida. It’s not as overwhelming as Miami, not as picked-over as some of the bigger bachelorette destinations, and it has a genuinely local feel that makes the weekend feel like yours. You get a real beach, a downtown St. Petersburg with bars and restaurants worth going to, and local spots scattered throughout that keep things interesting.
Logistically, it’s easy too. Tampa International is well-connected from most major cities, and a rental car split among your group gives you the run of St. Petersburg and the surrounding area without depending on rideshares all weekend. Book early on the rental app — most services let you check in ahead of time and skip the counter entirely.
Spring is the ideal window. April in St. Pete is warm, beach-ready, and ahead of the peak summer heat and crowds. Fall works too if spring isn’t an option.
Day 1: Arrive, Eat, Do Something Unexpected
Breakfast: Sourdough Co
Start the trip the right way — skip the generic breakfast and head straight to Sourdough Co. It’s a local bakery in the St. Petersburg area with great coffee, fresh food, and a handful of shops nearby to wander while your group finds its footing. The kind of first stop that immediately makes everyone feel like they made the right call choosing St. Pete.
✨ Andrea’s tip: I found Sourdough Co on TikTok before the trip and it did not disappoint. Good vibes, good food — exactly what you need to kick off the weekend before the real fun starts.
Activity: The Capybara Cafe
This is the one. Whatever else ends up on your St. Petersburg bachelorette itinerary, do not skip the Capybara Cafe. For around $60 to $65 a ticket, your group gets access to an enclosure with a handful of capybaras just living their best lives, plus a tortoise, some goats, and a few other animals roaming around. You get a piece of lettuce, you hang out with them, you take a hundred pictures. It’s completely low-key and completely unforgettable — the kind of activity that gets everyone laughing and loose before the real celebrating kicks in. Perfect for a bachelorette group because literally everyone, regardless of vibe, has a good time.
✨ Andrea’s tip: Book this one as soon as your dates are locked in. It sells out fast and I cannot imagine the weekend without it. People were sliding into my DMs for days after I posted the story asking where this place was.
Evening: Dinner In
Keep the first night easy. Grab food, get settled into the Airbnb, decompress from travel, and save your energy for Day 2. If your group hasn’t tried Jollibee before, this is a great low-key introduction — Filipino fast food that converts basically everyone on the first bite. First night in St. Pete done right: everyone in, no one overscheduled, already obsessed with the trip.
Day 2: Yoga, Beach, and a Night Out
Morning: Bad Girls Yoga
This is the activity that makes a St. Petersburg, Florida bachelorette weekend feel like a St. Petersburg bachelorette weekend. Book a private yoga or pilates session with Bad Girls Yoga for Day 2 morning and do it right in the backyard of your Airbnb.
Here’s what sets it apart: your instructor comes to you, brings all the mats, and builds the entire class around a playlist you send over in advance. Your music, your energy, your group’s vibe. No experience needed — about half of Andrea’s group had never done yoga before and everyone kept talking about how good they felt coming out of it. There’s something about moving together with music you love that does more for a group than most activities that cost twice as much.
Every Bad Girls Yoga session closes with a chilled rosé toast. Make it extra special by having custom tumblers made ahead of time — it doubles as a souvenir everyone actually keeps. Their private pilates sessions are available too if your group wants something a little more strength-focused, and their yoga page has everything you need to see what a session looks like before you book.
✨ Andrea’s tip: We requested early 2000s pop and Jonas Brothers for the playlist and our instructor Sam absolutely delivered. Watch the vlog to see how that class went — it was the highlight of Day 2 by a mile.
Afternoon: Treasure Island Beach
After the session, make mimosas, get ready, and head to Treasure Island for the afternoon. Wide beach, warm Gulf water, and the kind of Florida day that reminds you why you picked St. Petersburg. Plan to stay for a few hours — this is your dedicated beach day and it’s worth actually settling in rather than rushing through it.
✨ Andrea’s tip: Beach parking in St. Pete is one of those things where tourist areas know what they’ve got — build in a little extra time when you arrive and come prepared. The lots near Treasure Island can be strict about extensions too, so if you want the flexibility to stay longer, Uber to the beach and enjoy every minute of it without watching the clock.
Evening: Airbnb Dinner, Games, Night Out
Cook an easy dinner together at the Airbnb — tacos work perfectly for a group and keep things casual before you head out. Pull some bachelorette games from TikTok or Pinterest, dress in your theme, take your pictures, and then take the group out to the St. Petersburg nightlife. Downtown St. Pete has enough going on to fill a great night without having to plan every stop in advance.
✨ Andrea’s tip: We played games before going out and I got so into it I forgot to film most of it — which honestly tells you how fun it was. Look up bachelorette game ideas before the trip and set some aside for this night. It’s worth it.
Day 3: Brunch, Wander, Head Home
Brunch: The Don CeSar
The Don CeSar is the iconic pink resort in St. Petersburg and it’s worth a brunch reservation on your last morning. The setting is gorgeous, the photos are excellent, and the service is genuinely warm. It’s the kind of send-off that makes the weekend feel complete rather than just... over.
✨ Andrea’s tip: The food is good and the vibe is great but honestly the customer service is what I remember most. When I accidentally stepped in some dropped butter, the host came back with a cloth and wiped off my shoe without being asked. That’s the kind of thing that sticks with you. Worth going for that alone.
After Checkout: Wander and Find Something
Leave a little time before the airport to just explore. St. Petersburg has a rotating local market scene with independent vendors and makers that’s worth wandering through if timing lines up. Tampa International is easy to navigate — just note it has two trams if you’re returning a rental car, and build in a few extra minutes.
✨ Andrea’s tip: We stumbled onto a local market near a college campus on the way out and my sister and I each picked up a custom bag made from recycled materials. Leave some breathing room in your last day — the best stuff happens when you’re not rushing.
